Your visit begins with a skin assessment and, when appropriate, clinical photography. We discuss what you are seeing in the mirror, whether texture is the true priority, what treatments you have tried, and whether SkinSmooth™ by LILIVY is the right fit for your current skin.
For facial care, your plan will be either Face + Neck or Face + Neck + Chest. The skin is cleansed, eye protection is placed, and a clear gel may be applied to help the handpiece move smoothly across the treatment area. The SkinSmooth™ treatment step itself is efficient. Sciton states it adds approximately 3 to 5 minutes to a treatment visit and generally does not require numbing.
During treatment, the handpiece delivers carefully controlled BroadBand Light® energy across the selected areas. Most patients describe a mild warmth or brief snapping sensation. The BBL® HEROic™ handpiece incorporates cooling to support comfort. We talk you through the visit and adjust the plan around your skin and tolerance.
